The Second Coming of Jesus Christ

Sa ating buhay Kristyano, higit natin dapat na pagtuonan ng pansin ay ang ikalawang pagbabalik ng ating Panginoong Jesus. Bakit? Sapagkat ito ang bagay na pinanghahawakan natIn kung bakit patuloy natin pinapasan ang ating mga krus at patuloy sumusunod kay Jesus. Because if the second coming of Jesus Christ is not real, then we are the MOST PATHETIC PERSON IN THIS WORLD!

Let us see what the bible says about the Second coming of Jesus Christ.

• “Men of Galilee,” they said, “why do you stand here looking into the sky? This same Jesus, who has been taken from you into heaven, will come back in the same way you have seen Him go into heaven.” Acts 1:11

• "2 My Father’s house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you? 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am." John 14:2-3

• Behold, He is coming with the clouds, and every eye will see Him, even those who pierced Him, and all tribes of the earth will wail on account of Him. Even so. Amen. Revelation 1:7

• So Christ, having been offered once to bear the sins of many, will appear a second time, not to deal with sin but to save those who are eagerly waiting for him. Hebrews 9:28

Ilan lamang ito sa mga verses na makikita natin sa Bible patungkol sa Ikalawang pagbabalik ng ating Panginoong Jesus Cristo.

Mayroong isang pangyayari sa aming Church patungkol sa bagay na ito. May isang bata sa aming Church na nabuksan ang kanyang spiritual eyes at nakita niya ang napakaraming bagay. One night, after our prayer meeting we were talking together with his mum about his vision that afternoon. He suddenly said, i can see something in the sky , then when we asked him , "Ano yun?" Binasa nya, " I AM COMING VERY SOON" We were surprised sa sinabi niya. Pero kung titingnan natin ang panahon ngayon totoo nga sapagkat halos lahat ng mga tanda sa Bible ay nangyayari na.

Mga kapatid, kung paano nga sinabi ng Panginoon sa Hebrews 9:28, "He will come back to those who are EAGERLY WAITING FOR HIM. It is not enough just to wait for Him, we must have EAGERNESS! Because if we have EAGERNESS, WE WILL PATIENTLY WAIT FOR HIM!

How long since Jesus came to this World? It's been 2000 years ago. Human point of view, it's been a long long time.But to God, it's not, because based on II Peter 3:8:

But do not forget this one thing, dear friends: With the Lord a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day.

1000 years = 1 day

1 day = 1000 years

So it means. 2 days ago pa lang kay Jesus! God is truly so amazing! Some Christians think, "matagal pa naman Siya siguro darating" or some of them will say "maghahanda na lang ako pag andyan na sya" or some will say "Sus, ilang beses ng sinabi na darating pero wala naman". We must not be like them brethren. The Lord will surely come!

9 The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance. 2 Peter 3:9

Huwag tayo maging katulad ng 5 foolish virgins sa Matthew 25:1-13. They didn't PREPARE, kaya pagdating ng Bridegroom they were left behind 'cause they didn't watch the Bible says, it means they didn't PRAY!

“Therefore keep watch, because you do not know the day or the hour. Matthew 25:13

That's why brethren, let us all WAIT AND BE PREPARED for the GLORIOUS SECOND COMING OF OUR SAVIOR! JESUS CHRIST! For He will surely come! Let us ENDURE to the end! But the one who endures to the end will be saved.  Matthew 24:13
