Goodbye 2013

6 hours to go and we gonna turn our calendars to 2014. Wow, that was so fast. 2013 just passed by so rapidly. Many things happened, some people left with this year and some strangers became part of our lives. It is just so amazing how the Lord Jesus stays with me, with you. . despite of our sins that His eyes could only see.

“Brothers and sisters, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, 14 I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.”

Philippians 3:13-14

This words of Paul is very precious to me, ". .
Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, . . " Because we have some experiences and chaos in the past that stills hinders us from pressing ahead. Let's be true to ourselves. It's true. But as the Bible says, forget and strain toward!

Therefore, this coming 2014, let's leave behind all the sins that so easily entangles. . .

"Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us,"

Hebrews 12:1

If we had a stagnant faith in 2013, we must strive to activate our faith this coming year. For the Lord Jesus coming is drawing near. We can't be sure of the things that's gonna happen. but one thing is for sure that IF WE WALK WITH JESUS, He will never fail us! Aww, that is so sweetLord Jesus' promises are true! Amen!

May we all have a great faith this year, and serve the Lord more fervently! Let us run the race!

Please take time to pray with me this short prayer.

Lord Jesus, we really thank you for You help us with all hardships and trials
all through this year
We cannot brag anything before You, and apart from You, we can't do anything.
So please, walk with us again in this year 2014, and help us to be prepared for all the things that would gonna happen. Whether it's good or bad, help us to stay inside you and trust you for everything. We love you Lord Jesus. .
In Jesus name, Amen!

Be blessed! ♥

"Follow me. . "

This article is given to me through the Holy Spirit while i was sharing the Word of God to my younger sister. Many people wants to follow the Lord, wants to be a disciple, but only a few make it to the end.

"Follow me. . " A word that makes and force every true Christians to obey the Lord Jesus. While i was sharing the Word of God, i noticed that there are 2 types of disciples mentioned in the Bible. OK, let us start.

Matthew 4:19-8-20
18 And Jesus, walking by the sea of Galilee, saw two brethren, Simon called Peter, and Andrew his brother, casting a net into the sea: for they were fishers.
19 And he saith unto them, Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.

20 And they straightway left their nets, and followed him.

So, in these verses it was stated how Peter and his brother Andrew were called by the Lord Jesus. These 2 brothers were fishers. In verse 18. notice that they had just cast their nets on the sea, they had just started fishing but when the Lord called them, they didn't hesitate to Follow the Lord. They could tell the Lord, "Just wait Lord! After we catch fishes we will follow you!" Instead, they right away left their nets and followed him!

Another one. . .

Matthew 4:21-22
21 Going on from there, he saw two other brothers, James son of Zebedee and his brother John. They were in a boat with their father Zebedee, preparing their nets. Jesus called them,
22 and immediately they left the boat and their father and followed him.

And as the Lord Jesus continued to walk, He saw another two man, with their Father. James and John. The job of these 2 were fishers also! According to the verses, they were preparing their nets to begin fishing but when Jesus called them, the bible says "they immediately left the boat and their Father and followed the Him!" Wow! it is just really amazing. . They could have tell the Lord " Lord, after we catch fishes and help our father with this, we will follow you." Instead they right away followed the Lord!

A true disciple obeys the Lord, right away. Why? Because late obedience, is disobedience. Can we make excuse before the Lord? We cannot. Here is an example. .

Matthew 8:21-22
21 Another disciple said to him, “Lord, first let me go and bury my father.”
22 But Jesus told him, “Follow me, and let the dead bury their own dead.”

Here, on human point of view, it is reasonable to go first, bury your father, and then follow the Lord. But in God's point of view? No excuse! "If you want to follow me, the first step is to deny yourself" the Lord Jesus' message.

A "right away" obedient disciples and a "just wait Lord" disciple. Which type are you here? Let us examine ourselves. In times of a conflict schedule. Do we prioritize our things or the Lord's? Let us be an obedient disciples to the Lord Jesus! For He is coming very soon!

Now say after me "O my soul! Obey the Lord's voice right away when He calls!"

Amen! Glory to Jesus from now to forever!

2 Chronicles 7:14

"if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land." 2 Chronicles 7:14

Amen! i just want to share this Bible Verse that the Lord gave me recently.

I wanted to tell you point-blank about the message the Lord has given me.

I am gonna point 4 things in this Bible verse.

  1. Humbleness
  2. Prayer
  3. Seek the Lord's face
  4. Turn from wicked ways
These 4 things are what the Lord wants us to do for Him to heal us. First, humbleness.

He leads the humble in what is right, and teaches the humble his way. Psalms 25:9

We can never deceive God. We must come first to the Lord with a humble heart and with full reliance to His righteousness. Because the Lord searches our heart, he knows the deepest secrets of it. (Jeremiah 17:10) It must be first purified first of all. Humbleness means you admit to yourself that you really committed sin, without any excuses, just a pure and a clean heart.

Second is Prayer, one way we can talk to God is through prayer. When we draw near to God with a humble spirit, next step is prayer. We must confess to God through prayer.

Third is Seek the Lord's face, at first you will find yourself having a hard time to repent and sometimes even though you want to pray you cannot. Because of the spiritual beings that prevents you to do so. But we must overcome this hindrance and must not be overcome by it. Like a suitor, who really pursue to his dream girl, we must be also like-minded. We need God, and not vice-versa. So, we must be the one to pursue the Lord, seek Him earnestly and you'll find Him. As the Bible says in;
Deuteronomy 4:29
But from there you will seek the Lord your God and you will find him, if you search after him with all your heart and with all your soul.

Lastly, is turn from your wicked ways. Of course when we ask the Lord for forgiveness, He is just and faithful to forgive our sins, He will forgive BUT the Lord said we must turn from our wicked ways COMPLETELY. What is true repentance? True repentance is completely turning your back from your sins.

And after taking these steps, there are promises God promised. . .

"then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.

Oh, what a sweet and faithful promise!! The Lord said, if we will just completely repent, He will hear, forgive and heal us! My brothers and sisters in Christ. As of now, we can't see completely what the Lord has prepared for us. But by complete obedience and seeing through the eyes of faith we can be sure of it and wait patiently to our Lord Jesus Christ!!

But I am poor and needy; yet the Lord thinketh upon me: thou art my help and my deliverer; make no tarrying, O my God.Psalm 40:17

I thank you Lord Jesus for the grace! I love you. . . ♥
